Join us for Meditation Spaces free group meditation – every Sunday in Montrose, Colorado, and join our community to discover how to find your peace.
Where: 602 N. Nevada, Montrose, Colorado
When: 9:30 am – 11:30 am
What: Free group meditation with like minded spiritual friends.
Chairs provided, bring a cushion. All levels and beliefs are welcomed.
Schedule:
9:30 am – Community connection with free coffee, herbal tea and friendly conversation.
10:00 am – Session begins. 10-15 minutes of guided meditation including breath work.
10:15 am – Moves to quiet meditation for 20 – 30 minutes.
10:45 am – Closing and dedication, clean up.
Donations are welcomed to cover rent, printing, tea and coffee

“Many know me as Sangdrol Blanchard, the owner of Meditation Spaces, Sacred Gifts and Fine Art shop in downtown Montrose. I am a Tibetan Buddhist by faith, and have meditated for over 20 years. I will be leading our Sunday sessions with the intention of helping those who love meditating, and those wanting to learn more, find a community of like minded people. I am a simple student and happy to share some of what I have been taught by my teachers about the importance of a peaceful mind, a calm heart, and all it can provide. In a world filled with stress and suffering, our practice and prayers are dedicated at the end of each session, to help heal and change the world for the positive.“
This group is spiritual based, and considered open. There is no religious focus, all paths are considered valid. We each are encouraged to take an active part in the groups growth and richness. Kindness and compassion is a main focus, stress or conflict is left outside, leaving the space where we practice peaceful and harmonious. Thank you for being respectful during our sessions.
